Our Pan Pizza is ready
which we made from wheat flour
cheese has been perfectly melted, let me cut a piece to show you guys
yummy
as you guys just saw, today, we are going to make homemade pan pizza
that too with using wheat flour instead of maida (all purpose flour)
it turns out amazing
we don't need any oven, pressure cooker or deep pan to prepare this pizza
we are going to make it on our regular pan
which is available in all households
let's begin
first of all we will prepare dough for the Pizza base
because we have to keep it on a rest
take two cups of wheat flour in a big plate like this
which is approximately 250gms
create a hole in the middle of the flour, like this
and add 1/4th cup of curd in it
approximately 4 tablespoon curd
add 1 teaspoon baking powder in curd
and add half teaspoon baking soda
add half teaspoon of salt
give it a stir to the curd very lightly
this step fastens the reaction of baking soda, baking powder and curd
which will make our pizza base very soft and airy from inside
after 1-2 mins, you can see a change in the texture of the curd
because of this reaction our Pizza base will turn out perfect
then add 1 tablespoon of oil
and add 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
now mix all the ingredients with the help of your hand
so that the flour soaks all the oil and curd
mix it well
once it comes to this texture, we will start adding water
to knead the dough
so keep adding water as and when you want
and knead the dough
dough should not be too soft or too hard
it should be little softer (semi soft)
i have used two cups of wheat flour today
but if you want your base to be lighter then you can keep the ratio of all purpose flour and wheat flour 50:50
dough is almost ready
I am adding some oil at this stage
will knead the dough again
for at least 1-2 mins
now i will tell you, how to find out whether the dough is ready for resting or not
we will press the dough with finger, like this
you must have noticed, dough is trying to come back to the original shape after pressing it
this is the sign that the dough is perfectly kneaded
it is ready for resting
so cover the dough with a damp cloth
and keep it on rest for at least 1-1.5 hours
it's been 1.5 hour
let's check the dough
you can see dough has been doubled in size
knead it again for a minute
you can add some oil if you want
now we will divide the dough in 3-4 parts
keep the size of the dough ball as per the size of pizza you want
I am making three dough balls out of it

now, take one dough ball
start giving it round shape with the help of your hands
first make the round ball and then start spreading it with your hands, like this
now we will start rolling the dough very lightly with the help of a rolling pin
you can use some dry flour for rolling the base
let me give you one important tip
you can also use corn flour for rolling the base
corn flour will make your pizza base very crunchy
in all the pizza outlets, they use corn flour while making the base
we have to keep the centre of the base thin
and keep the side of the base thicker
so press the sides of the base with your finger like this
so that sides stays little thicker
then the center of the base
which will make it easier to add the sauces and toppings
this is the way they make pizza base in all outlets
you can see, sides are thick
and center is comparatively thinner
i have rolled it this thick
you can see the thickness
that's because we are going to make it on pan and not in oven
it is not too thick because this way it is easier to cook it on pan
if you want you can make it thin crust
it turns out awesome in pan
so if you want you can make it little more thinner
prick the base with a fork
so that it doesn't rise from the center while cooking it
i have pre heated the pan
on medium flame
use thick pan
you can even use non-stick pan
but you will have to keep an constant eye on flame, so that it doesn't get burnt
pan is perfect hot
preheated it on medium flame for 2 mins
now we will cook the pizza base
first cook the pricked side
let it cook on low-medium flame for at least 1 min
or until it starts forming little bubbles
you can see it has started to fluff
this means that side is cooked
remove it from the pan
we will cook bottom of the base later
spread pizza sauce over cooked side of the base
spread it evenly

in which i have shared homemade pizza sauce recipe
so you can follow it to prepare it at home
you can also use just tomato ketchup for kids
sometimes, i mix schezwan sauce and tomato sauce to spread it on pizza base
that too tastes good
and both the ingredients are always available at home
now we will add grated mozzarella cheese
i am using Amul's Moazzarella cheese, because it is easily available in the market
you can use any type of cheese you want
but mozzarella cheese makes the pizza just like the one you get in the outlets
because you get that stretchiness in mozzarella only, which kids love
make a thick layer of Mozzarella cheese
then we will add all the toppings
add some onion slices
adjust the quantity as you want
then some capsicum slices
you can add different types of capsicum
whichever is available with you
basically, you can add any type or size of toppings you want
then add some sweet corns
then some tomato slices
if you want you can add cooked chicken pieces or mushrooms
or even some paneer pieces coated with salt and red chilie powder
i have added all the toppings
now add some more mozzarella cheese evenly
because it's a pizza, you have to be generous while adding the cheese, then only you will enjoy it
this is ready
now, heat the pan for 2 min on medium flame
and then brush it with some oil or butter
then slowly keep the pizza over it
so that toppings doesn't fall off
keep the flame on low
and brush the sides with some oil or butter
i am using butter because it adds up the flavour
close it with a lid and let it cook on lowest flame for 7-8 mins
the most important thing you have to keep in mind is
flame of the gas should be on lowest
otherwise your pizza will get burnt
we have to let it cook on lowest flame until the cheese is completely melted

you can see cheese have been melted
just let it cook for another minute
let's remove the lid and check
you can see Pizza has been cooked well and cheese has been completely melted
you can see sides are little darker
cheese is perfectly melted
add some red chilie flakes
and some oregano or mixed herbs seasoning
you can easily get both of them in market
Pizza is ready, turn off the flame
and remove it on the kitchen platform
our pizza is looking just like the one you get in outlets
i can't believe it has turned out so perfect
